Placement Office of SCET (PO) is working under placement bureau for SCET students and alumni by continuously advertising jobs from both public and private sector organizations. Notice Board and Job Portal is the substantive source of attraction for current SCET students as well as for SCET alumni and recruiters.
1. Reference Letter
Reference letter to any SCET alumni on his written request will be provided by PB.
2. Industry – Academia Linkages
Placement Office is working with leading industry players for creating strong linkages with public, private and corporate sector organizations. Our team members/ executives are continuously visiting different industry representatives for enhancing mutual collaboration and creating opportunities for SCET students and Alumni.
3. Internship Programs
Placement Office is facilitating SCET graduates by providing internship opportunities in various public and private sector organizations. For this purpose PO responsibility will be to coordinated with various departments of SCET for collection of data and explore market for paid and unpaid internships opportunities relevant to student's professional education.
4. Graduate Recruitment
In Open House Placement Office invites different companies to conduct Graduate recruitment session in SCET Premises. We are targeting our graduating students of SCET for recruitment.
5. Capacity Building Workshop
Placement Office of SCET is continuously arranging capacity building workshops for the graduating students of SCET . The aim of this activity is to enhance soft skills and professional knowledge of our graduating students because we understand that many of them are going in job market after the completion of their study. The capacity building session includes:
- Workshops on Resume Writing
- Workshops on interviewing skills
- Workshops on Communication skills
- Workshops on presentation skills and job search strategies
- Entrepreneur lectures
- Guest Speaker lecture on various emerging topics
6. Job Fairs
Placement Office of SCET is organizing Job Fairs on annual basis. The purpose of organizing this event is to provide an opportunity to students and employers to come in direct contact and understand the requirements of job market.
7. Mock Interview Session
Placement Office of SCET is organizing mock interview session in every semester for the graduating students of SCET. For this purpose PO invites senior executives and professors in interviewing panel.
The aim of the activity is to give students opportunity to brush up their interview techniques, learn about their chosen profession and reduce anxiety for the real interview.
